4 New Team Records, Several All Time Top 10 Updates

This past weekend, our National-Sectional group attended a unique meet in North Carolina hosted by SwimMac. The meet included a Long Course meter prelim swim followed by a Short Course yard final. The finals included multiple heats including the top final - an “ultra-final” where only the top 2 swimmers from prelims competed.

The group performed great with several event winners including Chloe Kim winning 4 events (200 Free, 500 Free, 400 IM & 200 Fly). Kathleen Turano won the 1000 Free and Tim Lee finished 2^nd in the Ultra final for the 50 free. In the process 4 team records were broken.

Chloe Kim set new team records in the 200 IM (1:59.79), 400 IM (4:10.07) & 200 Fly (1:58.02). Tim Lee set a new team record in the 50 Free (20.54) for high school boys. We also had several new All Time Top 10 updates for the team set by Chloe Kim, Stephanie Kim, Timothy Lee and Emma Pereira.
