Congratulations to all our Scarlet swimmers and families on a successful State Championship / Gold Championships weekend! Scarlet won the Gold Championships meet with a combined 9027.5 points (6272 points more than the 2nd place team) and won both the Men’s and Women’s categories. We had several new Sectional qualifiers as well as 1 New Team Record, 1 new Summer Junior National cut and 1 NJ Swimming Record broken. We had a great meet this past weekend at the Super Bowl Splash meet at Rutgers. Several best times and several New Sectional cuts as well as 2 New Team Records. This past weekend, our National-Sectional group attended a unique meet in North Carolina hosted by SwimMac. The meet included a Long Course meter prelim swim followed by a Short Course yard final. The finals included multiple heats including the top final - an “ultra-final” where only the top 2 swimmers from prelims competed. The group performed great with several event winners including Chloe Kim winning 4 events (200 Free, 500 Free, 400 IM & 200 Fly).
