Gold Champs Recap - New Team Record, New Summer Junior National Cut, New NJ Swimming Record, Sectional cuts, etc.

Congratulations to all our Scarlet swimmers and families on a successful State Championship / Gold Championships weekend!  Scarlet won the Gold Championships meet with a combined 9027.5 points (6272 points more than the 2nd place team) and won both the Men’s and Women’s categories.

We had several new Sectional qualifiers as well as 1 New Team Record, 1 new Summer Junior National cut and 1 NJ Swimming Record broken. 

Chloe Kim broke her own Team Record in the Women’s 200 Butterfly with a time of 1:56.19. 

Emma Pereira (age 13) broke the 13-14 NJ Swimming Record in the 200 Butterfly with a time 2:00.18.  Her time also qualified her for Summer Junior Nationals.

Several of our National-Sectional swimmers swam a limited number of events as they are off to either Indianapolis or Buffalo to compete in Sectional Championships this week – LCM.

We also had numerous All Time Top 10 Updates for Short Course Yards.  Some of the updates include:
