CONGRATULATIONS CHLOE KIM - WORLD JUNIOR TEAM MEMBER (and other great meet results this past week)
We had some great swimming this past week and this past weekend!
First, Chloe Kim and Kathleen Turano represented Scarlet Aquatics at the National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana and got to race with Olympians and other World Class swimmers.
Congratulations to Chloe Kim as she made the World Junior Team in the 1500 Freestyle (16:30.92) where she will be representing Team USA in Romania on 8/19-24. This is Chloe's 2nd international team representing Team USA.
Chloe also swam a great 800 Free (8:42.31) which ranks her #4 on our All-Time Top 10 list for LCM (click here). She also swam a great LCM 400 IM at night (4:44.04).
Alumni Kate Hurst who now swims at the University of Texas was able to qualify for the World University Games in the 800 Free and 1500 Free. The games will be held in Berlin, Germany 7/16-27.
Back in NJ, we had a great Summer Blast meet (scy) with numerous best times and a number of updated Top 10 swims for Short Course Yards.
